You retain full ownership of every document you create, scan, or sign with Vivy. Since we never upload your files, we have no access to and make no claim over their content.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Vivy ('the app'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Vivy is a PDF toolkit that provides tools including document scanning, merging, splitting, rotating, reordering, page numbering, watermarking, locking, unlocking, digital signatures, metadata editing, compression, print layout, PDF creation, and image-to-PDF conversion. All document processing is performed locally on your device; Vivy does not upload your documents to any server.
3. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Vivy on devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use.
4. Free Version and Premium Subscription
Vivy is available in a free version, supported by advertisements, with certain limitations, such as watermarks on exported documents and limits on batch processing. A Premium subscription or one-time Lifetime purchase removes advertisements, removes watermarks from exported documents, and removes usage limits, as described within the app.
5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
Subscriptions (monthly or annual) and the Lifetime purchase are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and processed via RevenueCat. Where a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Prices are as displayed within the app and may vary by region; we may change prices from time to time, with notice as required by the applicable app store.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their own refund policies; Vivy and its developer do not process payments or refunds directly.
7. Your Documents and Content
You retain full ownership of any documents, images, or content you create, scan, sign, or otherwise process using Vivy. Since Vivy does not upload your documents, we have no access to, and make no claim over, the content of your files. You are solely responsible for the legality of the documents you process and for keeping independent backups of any important files.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Vivy to process, sign, or create documents for any unlawful purpose, to forge or misrepresent identity or authority, or in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users found to be in violation of these terms.
9. Intellectual Property
Vivy, including its design, logos, code, and branding, is the property of its developer, Haithm Mekhlafi, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or source code, beyond the limited license to use the app described above.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Vivy is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of any documents processed through the app.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Vivy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
12. Third-Party Services
Vivy relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, and the Apple App Store / Google Play Store. Your use of the app is also subject to the applicable terms of these platforms.
13. Termination
You may stop using Vivy and uninstall it at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the app, or any part of it, or to terminate your access, at any time, particularly in cases of violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. The 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Vivy after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
